This web site will use the writings of then Captain Elizabeth Hay, Chief Nurse of the 107th Evacuation Hospital.  In August, 1945 she wrote a piece entitled, "Nurses In Fatigues".  At a later date, I will incorporate the booklet called, " Five Stars to Victory" by Captain Joseph Mihalick and T/5 Martin Chancey.

My in-laws,  Robert and Cleo (Pressnell) Frisbie were members of the 107th, met in the unit, and were married at their last station in Wurzburg in July 1945.  It is to them that I dedicate this web site.

Most of the photographs will be from the Frisbies, Captain Anna Mateljan, and Sgt Allen Walker.  All were unit members, and all have since passed on.
